Fish Puppets….

If you’ve looked at the April calendar of events you’ll have noticed we have Fish Puppets scheduled at 2:00 on April 9 and you probably said to yourself “what on earth are fish puppets?”  Well Fish Puppets is our fish puppet-making workshop which is part of The Arroyo Arts Collective & Teatro Arroyo’s Fish Outta Water event.  The groups are planning a Fish-Themed Parade to take place on Sunday, June 5 starting at 11:30.  The parade will begin at the Southwest Museum and proceed to Sycamore Grove Park and will “celebrate the dazzling creativity of North East L.A. and honor the Arroyo Seco, a tributary of the Los Angeles River, which was once, and could be again, a vibrant waterway.

So… come to Fish Puppets on 4/9 at 2:00 and make yourself a deliciously elegant puppet that you can share with the world during the parade.  Everyone is welcome.
