The first is a documentary screening of “Pride and Prejudice” from the PBS documentary series, Latino Americans. The screening will take place on Thursday, March 31 at 6:00 and will be followed by a conversation lead by Martha Gonzalez & Summers Sandoval Jr, both professors.
The second is a Women’s Story Circle. People with stories from the Chicano Moratorium movement are invited to come and share their memories. Participants are encouraged to bring photos, postcards, draft cards, and anything directly related to the Chicano Moratorium to share with their stories. You may of course join us to listen to others if you were not yourself part of that particular time. This event will take place on Sunday, April 3 at 2:00.
These events are made possible through a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the American Library Association and the participation of Grand Performances.
