03. Good Health and Well Being
04. Quality Education
05. Gender Equality
06. Clean Water and Sanitation

Find more information about each of these goals in the database where the question, and answer, were found. Specifically, NewsBank.  Newsbank has U.S. news from local, regional, and national sources. The diverse sources included are printed and online newspapers, blogs, journals, broadcast transcripts, and videos. Topics are wide and varied, such as politics, business, health, sports, and cultural activities. Find it on the library’s Research & Homework page under “N” and access it with your library card.

Let’s Get Growing! Community Plant Swap

image of 3 different house plants

Is your spider plant overachieving? Did you propagate one too many pothos? Bring your extra greenery to the library and trade them for something new-to-you!

When: Saturday, May 9 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM
Where: The Library Community Room
How it works: Bring a plant, take a plant. It’s that simple!

Important Details:
  • Please bring healthy, pest-free plants or cuttings (we will be screening).
  • Label your plants if you know what they are (scientific or common names welcome!).
  • Don't have a plant to swap? Come anyway—we may have "orphans" looking for a home.
