History of Highland Park…

Check out this 88-page pamphlet (http://dbase1.lapl.org/webpics/calindex/documents/11/520698.pdf) put out by the Highland Park News Herald and Journal in October 17, 1963 to celebrate Highland Park’s Diamond Jubilee.  It has a ton of interesting stuff.  From essays about the history of the region to tables of the rainfall totals over the 75 years in question to special ads from local businesses commemorating the anniversary.  An interesting look back.
