LAPL has announced a fine amnesty program that will run from February 1 through February 14. During this period you will be forgiven for any fine accrued on your card and for any fines on items returned during the period --- even if it’s the book you’ve guiltily kept for the last two years. As long as the items are returned the fines will be waived. If you’ve lost a book check with your librarian…you can probably bring us a replacement and we will waive the usual processing fee. The LAPL very rarely has amnesty programs so this is something to take advantage of. Hurry down to the library anytime within that two week period and get your account cleared. Then visit us frequently.
