Looking for the legal code of a particular city in California?  The Institute of Governmental Studies at Berkeley maintains a large depository collection of local ordinance codes and charters issued by California cities and counties.  Handy if you can’t get your hands on the print copy (often terribly difficult).  Find it here: https://igs.berkeley.edu/library/california-local-government-documents/codes-and-charters.
