Phantom Angel

With Phantom Angel David Handler gives us another* engaging mystery although he (spoiler here) yet again kills a character unexpectedly…. The private detective agency in question is a little hard on their clients/people they interact with on their investigations.  In this book Benji is hired by a Broadway producer to track down a vanished angel (backer of a musical) via his also missing girlfriend.  Benji finds her, of course, but that is not really what this book is about and soon there are dead people, mob business, and scams afoot.  

Once again a book I would recommend.
