Mark Lawrence takes us back to the 80s in One Work Kill. There we meet Nick, recently diagnosed with Leukemia, and his cadre of D&D playing friends. During an eventful month Nick meets a mysterious stranger who gives him a mission that will see life change dramatically for everyone involved.
This was a good read that left many unanswered questions. I would recommend it to lovers of subtle SF.
