Highland Park History

 


The article “Clyde Browne and the Abbey San Encino” by Charles Cooper takes a close look at a local resident and his architectural obsession. You may have seen the Abbey… it’s directly across the street (and down the dell) from the library. You will learn that the Abbey includes a wedding chapel, a dungeon, and a bell tower that housed the bell that used to call Garvanza children to school.
