Think about someone who matters to you—a childhood mentor, a local politician, a relative who moved away, or even a star on the Walk of Fame. Stop by the library, create your own custom L.A.-themed postcard, and pen a brief, personal message. The library will take care of postage. All you have to do is write it.
(Because sometimes a letter to a politician says more than a headline).
