Vaseem Khan continues his Baby Ganesh Agency series with Bad Day at the Vulture Club. In this volume Chopra and his elephant sidekick Ganesh investigate the death of Cyrus Zorabian a prominent Parsee businessman. Parsees believe that after death their bodies should be left to the elements to be scavenged back to bone by birds. Zorabian was found in the Tower of Silence, Parsee holy ground. Chopra soon finds links between this death and crimes tied into an assortment of property scams.
This interestingly plotted book is full of fun details about life in Mumbai. It can be read alone though I would recommend the whole series for those with a taste for murder mysteries set in far off places.
