This question was mainly to highlight the fact that you can use your library card to access the New York Times Historical Archive. The Historical New York Times with Index (1851-1993) provides search capability using subject terms and topics for focused and targeted results in combination with searchable full text, full page, and article-level images from the Historical New York Times.  Find the New York Times Historical Archive listed alphabetically under N on LAPL’s Research & Homework page (https://lapl.org/collections-resources/research-and-homework) and access it with your library card.
