The book is both readable and reasonably interesting. It does cover territory that has been handled better by other authors but is worth a look at if you like a classic cut off estate mystery with supernatural or perhaps extraterrestrial trappings.

Ishmael investigates the growing mystery as bodies begin to pile up around him and the weather keeps everyone trapped.
