June’s Electronic Resource of the Month

The Electronic Resource for the month of June is the Archive of Human Sexuality and Identity. This Archive covers LGBTQ history and culture from 1940 forward.  It is an excellent resource for high school and college students, educators, and researchers.  It contains 18 individual collections and 1.5 million scanned pages.  The Archive documents both group and individual LGBTQ experiences in the areas of religion, politics, geography, ethnicity, race, etc.

Find the Archive of Human Sexuality and Identity on the library’s web page (http://www.lapl.org/) in the Research and Homework section (http://www.lapl.org/collections-resources/research-and-homework) filed under A.  You will need your library card number and PIN to access the archive if you are not on a library computer.
