The Humans by Matt Haig is a very interesting book.
It is about an extraterrestrial being who arrives on Earth and replaces
Andrew Martin, a mathematician whose insight the aliens are anxious to prevent
others on Earth from sharing. Our
hapless ET then must navigate a human life & human relations while trying
to accomplish his mission (& sharing his insights about humans with the
reader). As time goes by he finds
himself quite changed by the experience.
