Ben Aaronovitch continues his Rivers of London series with the very engaging False Value. In this volume Peter Gant has gone undercover to pry into the workings of a tech behemoth. He runs into suspicious American librarians and suspected AI. Meanwhile on the home front Beverly is expecting twins while simultaneously prying around as only a river god can.
While the book can be enjoyed if you haven’t read the series as a whole, the series as a whole is so good I say read the other titles too.
