This month’s question asked you to describe the flag of Mozambique.

The flag of Mozambique is pictured. It consists of (from the bottom up) a yellow stripe, a thinner bordering white stripe, a black stripe, a thinner bordering white stripe, and a green stripe. A fed triangle extends from the left side of the flag 1/3 of the way in. In the center of the red triangle is a yellow star inside the star is the image of a Kalashnikov rifle with a bayonet attached to the barrel crossed by a hoe, superimposed on an open book.

The image was found in the database A to Z Maps Online which, while featuring maps, includes a section on flags of the world. This database can be found on the library’s Research & Homework page under “A” and accessed with your library card.
