Ben Aaronovitch continues one of my favorite series, Rivers of London, with Lies Sleeping. This volume lives up to its predecessors providing an intricate, action filled plot peopled by the characters we’ve become familiar with. Peter Grant and those working with him in the Metropolitan Police continue to fight against the faceless man who appears to be reaching the final stages of an unknown plan that would spell disaster for London.
I strongly recommend this series and encourage you to pick up the first volume, Midnight Riot, if you are unfamiliar with it. If you already know the series you’ve probably already read Lies Sleeping and don’t need me to tell you to do so.
