A New Day in LA
This year’s Winter Reading Challenge runs from December 7 through January 9. It is an activity based, Beanstack challenge with a general theme of sustainability. There will be 20 activities offered with those finishing at least 5 tasks considered as completers and entered into our prize drawing. Activities are appropriate for all ages and include reading books in popular genres, attending a variety of virtual library programs, participating in STEAM programs - Neighborhood Science, makers and coding, etc. You will find the tasks listed on Beanstack and will use that program to mark your completion of tasks.
As to prizes - 25 winners will be given access to a special collection of eco-friendly items from The Library Store so they can select their own prize. These prizes will be shipped directly to the winners.
