The book was enjoyable enough to finish but I did not love it. The characters did not draw me in and their various motivations, particularly those of the main character, were not compelling. I would recommend it to those who really enjoy a good demon infested reality adventure but would not recommend it to anyone else.

Book Burners
In Book Burners a team of people, housed at the Vatican, seek out books housing demons and return them to their archive for safe keeping. Sal Brooks is a new member of the team, joining after her brother falls victim to one of these books. Things run out of control as various demon plots seek to undermine the Earth as a whole and one branch of the Vatican’s demon controlling forces begins an odd set of machinations. The book is written as “episodes” by four different people: Max Gladstone, Margaret Dunlap, Mur Lafferty, and Brian Francis Slattery.
