The Grave Soul

In Ellen Hart’s The Grave Soul Jane Lawless is hired to by a man to investigate the death of his girlfriend’s mother.  Kira knew her mother had died in an accident when she was five yet had been troubled all her life by nightmares that her mother was strangled.  Jane sets off to a small in Wisconsin to investigate and soon finds herself mired in the middle of a tightly knit but highly dysfunctional family and faces some dangerous consequences.

Recommended to fans of Ellen Hart as well as people who like a low key mystery with interesting characters.
