An excellent site to just poke around for the fun of it is
the UN’s World Heritage List (http://whc.unesco.org/en/list). Here you can poke around geographical sites
from all over the world, learn about them, view some stupendous pictures, and
otherwise kill an hour or two. You’ll
definitely leave the site with a few more “places to visit before you die” to
add to your list.
