Charles E. Gannon’s book Fire with Fire is an interesting Science Fiction novel.
Clearly the first in a series it ends by exploring Earth’s encounter
with a loose alliance of aliens. It
begins in a vaguely political thrilleresque way. The most interesting thing about the book was the way the plot
kept making unexpectedly dramatic changes in direction. On the other hand I did not care that much
for the actual characters & actively dislike the main character.
