TOW (& Answer)...

This week’s question was what is a totchka?  A totchka is a unit of measurement equivalent to 0.01 of an inch or 0.2540005 of a millimeter.  It was a measure used in Russia, Estonia, and Latvia.


The question (& answer) were taken from p. 47 of For Good Measure by William D. Johnstone.  The book was published by Holt, Rinehart and Winston in 1975
