Here (https://dbase1.lapl.org/webpics/calindex/documents/10/520333.pdf) we have a collection of newspaper articles and images about the end of Union Pacific Rail operations in the Highland Park area. Apparently it was halted to make way for freeway construction. It is actually quite interesting. Take a look.
