Necromancing the Stone

Necromancing the Stone by Lish McBride is the second in a series.  While it makes sense as a stand alone it is even better if read after reading book 1: Hold Me Closer.  The book follows the adventures of Sam LaCroix a newly minted necromancer as he deals with the perils and tribulations he finds all around.  The series is not deep but it is entertaining.   

Recommended for anyone looking for a bit of diversion.
